Competitive, Precompetitive, Recreative

You are better than yesterday, trust yourself! I believe in you.

My experience as an athlete :

I did gymnastics when I was in elementary school, it was more of a show-focused option than a competitive one. I later found my way back towards the end of high school, and that’s when I started working here.

My training experience :

I have been coaching at Gymini since December 2017. I started with the recreational sector, while keeping an eye on the competitive. I learned a lot from following experienced coaches who taught me a lot about athletes and even more about sport at such a level! I now train in the precompetitive and the competitive, while sometimes trying to do some recreational!

My other experiences :

Throughout my high school I was part of a dance program. I have done ballet, contemporary, Simonson jazz, folklore style character dance and flamenco. Throughout my 5 years, I went to New York and Spain, where I was able to attend a few refresher courses!

My pride :

I am proud to have gone to the pre-competitive and competitive sectors in order to be able to continue to get young athletes in the region moving while instilling in them values that are important for everyday life. I love that I can follow a group all year round, and not just during a session. I have the time to bond with them, to see them thrive in a sport they are passionate about, but also to see these young humans grow and assert themselves as the citizens of tomorrow.

My passion :

My passion will always remain that of children. Since I was very young, I have always loved helping the little ones. They form society little by little and with the necessary tools each of them is able to change the world. By practicing a sport such as gymnastics, they are dealing with 4 different disciplines, making them versatile. By practicing it at a certain level, they learn to feel a sense of belonging within their group, while being able to deal with their stress in front of a crowd. Gymnastics don’t just develop them physically, but also mentally. I’m a trainer because I love what I do, period. I pass my knowledge of an extraordinary sport on to athletes that I love so much and who are eager to learn, and that is priceless!

My development :

My ambitions are to continue to grow within Gymini, to pass on my love for gymnastics and to do training periods, “gift” periods in the busy athlete week. I want to continue to learn more about sport and these young people, so that I can then teach them in a primary school, after my studies!

My club :

Gymini is the candy of my week. A moment of fun and a break through a hectic world filled with studies!
