Children ages 4-12 with disabilities including, but not limited to, intellectual or physical disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, language, behavioral disorders, etc.
WHAT IS IT :
Recreational coaching program specializing in motor development, gymnastics and acrobatic sports.
In 11 sessions, the children will be able to live the experience of a neurotypical group accompanied by a resource trained by specialists in psychoeducation, etc. The child will be able to develop his or her motor skills through various gymnastic and acrobatic sports. The child will experience a variety of movement families such as displacements, rotations, stationary positions, receptions and impulses, all of which will be adapted to his or her individual abilities.
The first session will allow the child to meet their coach, tour the gym, meet the group and be introduced to the Gymini environment. In subsequent sessions, the child will participate in the class with a resource dedicated to his/her needs.
Before registering through our platform, you must first complete the online application form so we can better understand your child’s needs and ensure the most appropriate support.
Once the form has been received and reviewed by our team, you’ll be able to register your child for the course that matches their age group through our registration platform (Amilia).
The cost is the same as a regular class.
An annual membership is required ($20, valid from September 1 to August 31) and will be automatically added at the time of registration.
