G-Force: A unique gala!

G-Force celebrates its athletes with an unprecedented end to the season

February 22 at 1:30 p.m. Vaudreuil-Dorion – On February 3, the pressure exerted on the sports community by maintaining government health measures sounded the end of G-Force’s 2020-2021 competitive season. Despite everything, the Vaudreuil-Soulanges organization wanted to recognize and celebrate the athletes who have stayed the course despite the pitfalls of this unprecedented season.

On the evening of February 19, the G-Force coaching team hit the road to hand out recognition awards to athletes who shined in this short season. In total, the 12 winning athletes received a home award while the nominees received a commendation in the mail as part of the annual gala.

The G-Force association also received a personal message from the general management of the Fédération de Cheerleading du Québec. In a letter to members, Ms. Barbara Émond indicates that “sport is a teammate in this fight against COVID-19 and not an adversary […] you and your organization have been exemplary during this pandemic, we are so proud of it”.

FAR FROM THE END

The G-Force association will offer a calendar of diversified activities as soon as this is authorized by the government of Quebec. Whether it will be through private lessons, whose safety was demonstrated last November and December when Quebec was experiencing the peaks of its second wave of COVID-19, or through open-gym activities, the organization intends to offer activities to Vaudreuil-Soulangeois.

G-Force would like to sincerely thank all of its members for their trust, patience and understanding over the past few months, which have not been easy!
