April 7, 2020 at 10 a.m., Vaudreuil-Dorion – Following the various decisions of the organizers of cheerleading competitions, Gymini wishes to announce the terms of its members’ compensation.

NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS – CANADIAN CHEER EVOLUTION

An email from the EventConnect booking platform was sent to all members who made an online reservation in anticipation of the event. Reservations have been canceled and non-refundable deposits will be converted to credits. An email from EventConnect will be sent to you within the next 60 days regarding details regarding these credits available for any hotel and dates in the future.

MAGICAL CHAMPIONSHIPS OF THE WORLD – COPBRAND

At the present time, the mexican competition has been postponed to August 2020. Given the uncertainty of the current situation which afflicts all of our members, we are considering the option of canceling our participation to the competition for the following reasons:

• Economic insecurity, due to the numerous job losses;
• The inability to postpone vacations after a period of unemployment;
• The risk of injury related to intensive resumption of training in preparation for the competition;
• The uncertainty of the date of resumption of international flights;
• Uncertainty about the reopening date of the gymnasium and the resumption of training

At this time, COPBRAND does not anticipate reimbursement or credit. This is why we are looking at the extent to which the Club will be able to help all of its members to suffer the least possible repercussions following the COVID-19 crisis.

We are currently in communication with the Quebec Cheerleading Federation in order to obtain the best possible representation in the quest for an acceptable compensation agreement for our customers.

All Quebec cheerleading clubs registered for this competition are working together to obtain the best possible compensation. We will continue to keep you posted on developments in our negotiations and we will continue to have your best interests at heart.
