🌈 A new reality!

Since the start of the summer, we have been implementing and testing new training methods with our competitive groups and day camp groups. We are therefore now ready to welcome recreational groups safely, in the new reality of the coronavirus. Our return plan meets all Gymnastique Québec and INSPQ standards. In summary, beyond the usual measures of distancing and hand washing, we have implemented measures that reduce the number of children per group, the number of groups in the gymnasium, the way of moving around the gymnasium, disinfection of devices between each group as well as welcoming procedures to prevent participants with symptoms from training in the gym. This is a shared responsibility and parental involvement in following instructions will be important. The recreation annex to the stimulus package can be found here (French only).

😭 A heartbreaking choice

In order to limit the number of people in the gymnasium and the disinfection of small equipment (maracas, scarves, stuffed animals, etc.), we only offered lessons for children aged 4 and over, without parents. So we weren’t offering Karibou programming this fall. As the situation evolves, we sincerely hope that we will be able to put these popular courses back into the lineup this winter.
